AW: [Fairlight-CMI] Removal of Audio Output Cards on MFX2

2009-03-16 by Poulain Michael, R1MM

Dear Steve, Thanks for the tip. I removed the cards 3/4 & 5/6, and the beasty is working again on full trusters - must have just been a loose connection somewhere. If you could keep your eye open for me mate for a full functional Series III Keyboard that I can plug into my MFX2.

Don't take the thumb screws all the way out, just screw them back in about 2 or 3 turns and them use them as grips to pull the card out. Only screw them all the way in once your fault finding is over. [Steve] SteveRance From: Fairlight-CMI@yahoogroups.com [mailto:Fairlight-CMI@ya

A Q050! I have a few. This card pre-dated the bit map graphics cards and could display 80x25 character cells. They were never a end user board for users of the CMI and early MFX systems but were extensively used by R&D for high speed debugging. [Steve] From: Fairlight-CMI@yahoogr
