The mostly likely reason is that the .acv is not a grayscale curve. In other words it probably is an RGB version that has multiple curves -- a grayscale .acv

... Yes, the R800/1800 3-MK ink is matte only. It rubs off the FB papers (unless sprayed with a fixative). The UT14 in a 1400 does a great job on all of them.

Brian, The curve dropdowns in QTRgui are for the .quad files not .qidf files. Everything is under Program Files QuadToneRIP ... quadtone has the .quad files
