The PremierArt spray gives the smoothest finish and is not overly glossy. Best of the bunch that I ve tried so far.

Works fine. I regularly scan 4x5 TriX negatives at 2400 dpi -16 bit gray. It is slow, but it just chugs along to finish. Truman
