Rish, I wasn t aware of zip discs have a write protect switch. Is it an actual physical switch on the disk, like the write proectect tab on a floppy disk?

diagnostic is difficult via email. If the sampler distorts w/ both cards inserted alternately, there might be a sampler issue. Did you jumper your S-1100
